About ME
It all started when...
I got my first camera when I was 8 years old. I've been shooting photos ever since. I had a darkroom and an enlarger- I learned about chemicals and photographic technique.
My first SLR happened in 1970, and my first digital camera had a whopping 3MB sized photos.
I became an optometrist for many reasons-- of course one of them was my love of optics (lenses) and science. Subsequently, I spent 17 years in academia and them moved over to the ophthalmic industry doing consulting on ophthalmic instruments (including cameras) and medical device marketing. I took pictures all along the way. I even worked for Carl Zeiss and visited and worked at the factory where they made planetariums.
I'm still taking photos....
